More workdays are lost through backache than anything else

Nowadays employee Health and Safety is of primary importance. With more and more people deskbound and at their computers all day, it is vital to look at the postural damage this can produce especially when considering the cost of RSI and back pain not just to the employer but also to the employee who is unable to work and therefore earn.

As a body-conditioning system Pilates is ideally suited to the office-bound worker as it helps to realign the body, thereby reducing posture-related backache and tension headaches caused by hunching all day.

With her City background, Min understands only too well the effects of  hours spent at a computer with sometimes unrealistic deadlines. The debilitation from posture-related lower back pain with the sometimes excruciating discomfort felt by the employee, not to mention the cost of RSI to the employer. 

Min is able to offer  interactive workshops or lecture-based seminars to both employers and employees ( either individually or as a group) which look at spinal realignment, the importance of core stabilisation for  improving flexibility and the principles of 'active sitting' which help prevent the onset of RSI.

Min is also able to offer Workshops in Desktop Pilates - exercises that can be performed in the office without the need for special equipment or clothing. As Pilates is a mind-body exercise, the added benefit is a clearing of the mind enabling the client to return to work refreshed and motivated.
